T he Golden Monkey Theatre is steeped in tradition and intrigue. The theatre itself was transported piece by piece from the remote pacific island of Simia, where it entertained royalty for hundreds of years. Every piece of stone (of which there are three) was carefully numbered and relocated to Nick Koudis Studio, In NYC, and now finds it's home in Hollywood.

A crack team of archeologists made certain that everything is exactly the way it was in ancient Simia: The intricate carving of King Cornelius adorning the procenium. The 425 watt seven track Digital Dolby Surround sound. Films on DVD... A ten-foot hi-res picture. Everything is exact.... Right down to the beer and cheese.

In it's ten years in New York, the Golden Monkey Theatre has brought you such films as Delicatessen, Starship Troopers, Boogie Nights.... some even before release... (don't ask). We've brought in a live orchestra, we've had special effects and costume nights.
